Louise Beer AKA Louise Plus One after a lifetime love of music became intrigued by the rave scene in the late eighties and partied in warehouse raves around London, acid house sound systems in Glastonbury, in Manchester and Castle Morton, and Club Dog, she started attending regular techno parties in 1994 and it was only natural that she should buy a per of technic`s turntables in 1995, she soon had her first break with Stonka Sound System and played regularly at the Dungeons in East London, alternating between the techno room and the old skool room where she played acid house and old skool. Louise then quickly gained a reputation as a promoter of small events playing with quality djs such as the Liberators, Jerome Hill and Rob Stow. Since then she has gone from strength to strength, playing in many of London’s clubs, bars and raves. Louise had her biggest challenge 1999 when her child Lily (hence the plus one) was born, she has continued to Dj thanks to the help of the scene, especially from Malfaiteurs system crew, who helped enormously. Louise plays regularly for Malfaiteurs and has become a regular face on the London dance scene.
Louise Djs at and promotes her own highly successful night called Re-Rave-All, which encompasses all the best genres of dance music including: Techno, Acid House, Old Skool, Nu Skool Breaks, Drum`n`Bass and Chill Out, playing alongside the likes of Top Buzz, The Surgeon, Woody McBride.
Louise also has an excellent weekly show on interface radio, which has gained acumen.
Louise plays regularly at other events including: Housebreakin, Sonic Sound System Parties, Multivitamins and Acid Toe Jam
